The Cyber-Security and Applied Resilience (C-SAR) Center at the University of Dubai hosted an online webinar titled “Pathway to a PhD in Cyber Security: Guidance for UD Master’s Students” on November 12, 2025, featuring Prof. Helge Janicke, Professor of Cybersecurity at the School of Science, Edith Cowan University (ECU), Australia.
The session was organized to guide UD Bachelor’s and Master’s IT students interested in pursuing doctoral studies and research in the field of cybersecurity. Prof. Janicke provided valuable insights on preparing for PhD applications, developing research capabilities, and exploring international opportunities in cybersecurity innovation and higher education.
