University of Dubai Signs MoU with TechFirm Technology LLC to Enhance Cybersecurity & Digital Resilience

 The University of Dubai (UD) and TechFirm Technology LLC have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to forge a strategic partnership in cybersecurity, digital resilience, and advanced technology initiatives.
Under this agreement, both institutions will work together to promote educational programs, co-develop services, and support C-SAR (Cybersecurity & Applied Resilience Center) projects.

Through this collaboration, CEIT (College of Engineering and Information Technology) students will gain access to TechFirm’s cybersecurity platforms, internship placements, and professional mentorship programs. These opportunities aim to enhance students’ readiness in emerging fields such as cloud security, digital forensics, AI-based threat detection, and incident response.

TechFirm will also partner with UD’s research teams to launch joint research projects in cybersecurity, promote real-world experimentation, and support applied studies by postgraduate students. As part of the agreement, both institutions will co-sponsor workshops, training sessions, and certification programs for students and professionals.
President Dr. Eesa Bastaki described the agreement as an important milestone in strengthening UD’s ties with the tech industry: “Working together with TechFirm will enable our students and professionals to participate in cutting-edge projects and develop practical skills.”
