The C-SAR Center at the University of Dubai hosted Ahmed Saleem, Senior Manager of Cyber Security Strategy, for a thought-provoking session titled Cyber Safety Awareness: Essential Practices for Staying Safe Online. The event was held at CEIT 102 on 6 October 2025 and welcomed students from the Master of Science in Cyber Security (MSCS) program along with CEIT undergraduates.
During the session, Ahmed Saleem shared key insights on identifying online risks, protecting personal and organizational data, and staying safe while navigating digital platforms. He highlighted the importance of secure behavior in daily online activities and provided practical guidance that attendees can implement immediately.
Ahmed’s expertise covers cyber security reviews, vulnerability assessments, cyber security transformation strategies, and emerging challenges within the field. He also emphasized the role of continuous learning and community engagement in strengthening digital resilience. The discussion gave students a direct connection to current industry expectations and professional best practices.
